They're good quality and should be a bit cheaper over there I think. They have gone up a bit in the last couple of years. It depends what you're looking for but you could visit one of the good opticians (e.g. Native Ken) to see what's on offer from other brands.

Cubitts may still have some of their Ampton model in store.
