These are spot on, thanks Swede. They do look a bit bigger than New Wayfarers, no? More like regular ones. Do they angle forwards a bit?

definitely a similar size to standard wayfarers.. they do not angle forwards like a wayfarer though

worth noting that that type 01 = bibi

Probs a Q for Andy.

Not sure how measurements work in sunnies.
Got a new pair of JMM acetates but they're sitting lopsided when wearing, from what I can tell the main difference is the arm length, them being a bit longer. The measurement on the arms:

Old pair fit well, measurements:

Need to back them or can they be adjusted? got them considerably cheaper than UK too but have only got a 2 week window to get them back to Italy.

Those numbers have nothing to do with the temple length. 54-20 and 51-20 are the lens and bridge widths (ie 54mm wide lens, 20mm between the lenses). The other numbers I assume are the limited edition numbers (ie pair 63 out of 400 made).

When you sit them on a flat surface are both temple tips touching the surface or is one raised?

If one is raised then something is wonky (no lanz). It could be a slight twist in the front or a slight difference in the temple bend or angle. It's a quality control issue and for the retail price you'd expect it all to be balanced. It may be possible for an optician to adjust them for you (they'd warm them up in a frame heater and bend back into shape) but I'd question it with the retailer first. Who did you buy them from?

If both temple tips touch the surface then it's your head that's wonky and you got lucky with the fit of your first pair. In this case the it's not the retailer's issue but an optician will be able to adjust the frames to sit better, again with a frame heater.

Fuck, could be the latter and my sloth head Puzzled They seem straight and quite a boxy rectangular shape but will dbl check.

Bought them from ivisionari, a good £200 cheaper than UK dealers. Will give it some thought, suppose I could pop them in to the Eye Co and see if they could make an adjustment.

Appreciate the reply.

How heavy are the JMM sunnies? Never had in hand but they are pretty chunky.

Selling my Oliver Peoples MP-2 Matte Black / Antique Pewter glasses if anyone is interested. I had polarised lenses professionally fitted by someone recommended by Andy. Only wore them a couple of times last summer as they unfortunately don't suit me.
