^^when I ordered mine from there they weren't in stock and it said they would have to order them in. Took a punt and they were shipped a week later so they seem quite good at getting stuff (although this was when there was no sun to speak of so I didn't mind risking it)

Not really, it's made by an American company called Marchon Eyewear (one of the big players in the licensed brand eyewear market).

Moncler are producing new sunglasses. If they wanted to do this style they could have done it a lot better. I think these look shite.

Cheers. Probably going to be too wide for my face. Are there any particular styles I should be looking at with frames under 50mm?

Sub 50mm is quite small for sunglasses really.

If you like the style of those Tom Ford ones but want something smaller, then either retro or "original retro" is possibly the way to go.

Assuming you want to steer clear of Ray-Ban, you could try Retrospecs, Shuron (which come in a wide range of sizes) and Moscot.

Don't rule out getting sunglasses lenses put in an optical frame - optical frames are smaller generally, so that will widen your choices.

Thanks for the info. Not necessarily looking for wayfarer style, I'm willing to try any style but most sunglasses seem to be too wide for my face

The trend over recent years has been for bigger and bigger sunglasses, so the retro route will probably give you the best chance of finding something the right size.

What's the difference between tom ford "jack" and "cary"?

Besides being completely different shapes? Laughing out loud

Robii where did you get the 145mm measurement from? Sites usually list the width of the lens, the width of the bridge (distance between the lenses) and the temple length.

They're not stupidly big but they're bigger than some wayfarers I had which were 135mm wide, but even they were too wide, although only slightly. I seem to have a very narrow face

I'll look for vintage stuff then Andy

Edited my post as I made a mistake, Andy but the Tom Ford Jack model have a bigger frame and wider bridge than the wayfarers I had

Yeah I just scaled them up and it seems like they would be around 142mm overall.
