let's compare and contrast. Does the jap pull off the coat better BECAUSE he's jap? Not really, just the white kid (like most white kids these days) has no sense of balance or context. His friends wear tight tapered jeans so he does, he doesn't even have other possibilities in his vocabulary. he knows supreme is hot so he over compensates with a box cap to top it off. he got his shoes on sale because he's not fully committed to the style and spent all his money on the hype coat.
Now lets take the jap. He knows supreme's roots, he's grown up with a wealth of detailed targeted brand information in handy magazine form in every convenience store, all japs look the same so they have to try harder to stand out (I'm being serious here, no joke), therefore they have more varied approaches to style. anyway with that style of coat and in the context of Supreme you can't wear skinnies, he knows that and has gone for sagged and baggy, decent boots too reminiscent of NYC hip hop culture, Wu tang etc, not reminiscent of 3rd rate sale trend shoes from RTFT or some bullshit like the white guy has on.
Then theres the argument that darker skin tones equal swag which I might be open to, coz both black people and japs can have a lot of swagger. but so can white people. but mostly I just think the trends that 99% of white people follow are complete bullshit and look shitty on 99% of people, black, asian or white.
