the adidas x palace promo video is great though
but the term 'imagined nostalgia' - subtle supreme reference for the itk's - comes to mind whenever i see collections like that
it really shouldn't matter, but it kinda does…

I read an interview with Carlo Rivetti (Stone Island owner) and he said they're trying to break into new markets, such as the USA, where they're relatively unknown. This could be their first step at "getting noticed" stateside.

i used to own a couple stone island jackets when i was secondary school but honestly couldn't see myself wearing one now.
in general i feel a little uneasy about the whole re-appropriation of chav/terrace wear lately, especially on the back of the palace x adidas collection
not sure if its one big piss take or a clever piece commentary
