Got my TNF in from my connect, shits silky smooth, doubt it'll fair well in the weather tho.

Yes for many a year i too Have doubted if north face jackets can handle rain.

Would survive in drizzle but nothing substantial I doubt, wouldn't recommend it as a winter jacket, its the thickness of tissue paper, polar fleecing around the throat area but that's about it in terms of keeping you warm.

You proberly will stay dry, but the jacket will get fucked/faded

That would be better value for money, honestly its as thick as that

It's a shame. For the price I was expecting them to throw some Gore-Tex layer or something in there.

I think I've been more than eager (to say the least) in trying to ascertain one, but these posts are detracting considerably from that urge. It's been difficult finding detailed photo's of the jacket, but even in the preview images it appeared thin, my hopes were that there was some form of insulation between the corduroy and shell, or a double zipper.
There are rumours of a 2nd TNF collaboration, but I highly, highly doubt this.

I know someone that arse licks the guy's in NY and he said they told him its coming, we'll have to wait and see, would make sense seems as last weeks one wasn't really a 'winter' jacket. And my one as far as I can tell there is a thin corduroy, and then a thin layer of nylon-y material.

This is the same jacket as the waxed collab 3 yrs ago.
It's not meant to be warm.
Mines on its way still but I take it that it's hyvent tech?
All my hyvent tnf jackets are 10000% fine for English weather and I even have hyvent ski gloves for the piste.
Wasn't there photos of a rumoured tnf collab from a few months ago? Another all over print design?

It's a shell, to be warn over jackets/hoodies.
It's was never going to be something you could rock over a tee and keep warm.
I brought it cause it looked nice, not because I'm climbing Everest.
And it's not like northface put out shit quality jackets.
