Thanks @ Ulster_blue, that’s a shame as otherwise they sounded/looked pretty good

Has anyone used Son of a Tailor? They keep popping up on my Instagram so was thinking of ordering to see what they're like?

I quite like the idea of one made to measure as I have quite broad shoulders but a small torso and hate sweatshirts that hang too low

You should try some Real McCoy’s shields. Sound like they were made for your body type.

Supreme CYC were still the best fit last time I checked. I had a navy crown logo in the day. Wore that so much. but yeah reverse weaves can go wrong so quick. Wash too warm or stretch in the wrong direction and they're fucked forever. Thing about preme is the necks on reverse weave crews are perfect. That's a really hard thing to get right on a reverse weave crew I think, the neck

2nd best was a Blue Marlin I got late '90s from Swell Store. Loved that thing too. Super heavyweight, made in USA and great fit:

there was the first B.A. x NH brotherhood stuff, That sweat fit great as well. Think it's here, at peak of my jgirl hunting powers..

These days I just wear Champion but getting harder and harder to find anything that fits and feels like the old days, the sizing and fit is so random on Champion now, global supply chains, licences, made in USA, made in USA for Japan, made in Japan, Made in China, made in Turkey, Made in Haiti, ffffuck..

but basically the moral of my story is if you don't want a boxy vintage fit then don't buy vintage/heritage brands

Yeah I seen they get recommended quite often but each time I search for them they always seem to be sold out in my size / colour I want. No rush for them though, so I'll just keep checking.

I actually think the boxy fit would suit me better but from the ones I've bought in the past sizing is all over.

Yeah I got an email from them saying that what I'd done was essentially a pre order, will post any details once it arrives.

Also yes, from Canada, made there iirc.

Does that mean there's import tax then? Or is it included in the price shown?
