Get the bulldog sports, made from a stretchy material and much more comfortable than the normal ones.

I'm trying to remember a swimshorts brand.

They were cut similar and were priced similar to OB but the patterns were amazing.

Kinda like the lairier EG prints.

Ballox … He'd be near the top of the list of the last people you'd want seen in your brand.

Patagonia Baggies are consistent classic. Size down for a more form fit.

Noah do a decent modern fitting version of that style too. Have seen a few pairs on eBay / Grailed following the sample sale they did in London.

Arket does something very similar to those bulldogs. Bought a pair of those recycled Nylon shorts from them last year. Really well made and seemingly great value, but they gave me spectacularly itchy contact dermatitis on my arse whenever I went for a swim and kept them on as they dried. Then again I have particularly peachy buttocks and your mileage may vary.

Champion do some good swim shorts, similar to the Patagonia ones quite baggy

Champion RW swimmers are shite. Had mine about a year and they've lost their shape and are completely baggy around the waist. Even if you tie the drawstring to blood stopping levels they're around your fucking ankles after one 5.9 dive into the pool.
