Ive been getting series one of this from lovefilm for the last couple of weeks, gonna watch the last episode tonight. I have to say i really dont get the 'best tv series ever' comments. I think its quite good but thats all. Maybe im missing something or maybe i was expecting too much.

They're quite similar, but The Wire is, bar the second season, more a complete entity. In fact the first season beats the first of Sopranos without a shadow of a doubt.

Just got the last one to go, and I envy people just getting around to catching it. Omar Little is in the Top 5 greatest characters of all time, and I'm not just talking tv.

first season of the wire was so shit. so badly acted and it was just like any other cheesy cop show? what made it different?

sopranos is on a whole next level and is the greatest show ever made. this is the truth anyone who says otherwise has a shit dick
