Right got caught up in all this 'The Wire' hype, downloaded season 1 and am onto episode 6 at the moment and i am FUCKING LOVING IT.

I bet at least half of the people watching The Wire for he first time tonight, will not rate the first episode that much and wonder what all the fuss was all about. I know thats what i initially thought, but stick with it a few episodes in, and you realize its on a whole other level to anything you've seen on tv before.

true. i downloaded it ages ago, watched about 20 minutes of the first episode and then deleted the lot…was much busier then, couldn't be arsed with anything other than instant, so will stick with it this time.
