i'm being a sheep and getting the off-the-shelf designs, but an and or 2 on my buttock, and a tribally/gothicy (yet very simple) design on my shoulder blade, a few pages back was the first tattoo i got, prompted by this thread.
no way i'd get a half sleeve though! good luck!

Wicked spacecat. Think some extra colours would look the dogs.
Gonna save up for couple of tattoos I want done, just in the designing process now. Got a excellent artist round where I live.

Already had the big star on the back of my arm, as I have symetrical one on the back of my other arm. They took 3 hours in LA in 2001.
I got the design done based on that, and on the fact I didn't want a Jap art sleeve. I just said that I wanted colour and booked a session. I turned up and he had the rocket, plannet 8-ball, the pink alien and the UFO stenciled out. He spent some time getting those lined up, and then the rest is done free-hand. So each session he would get a felt tip out and spend and hour or so ddoling on me until we were happy. He outlined it and then made up the colours on the spot.
It took 10.5 hours in total (not including the time for the big star) and was done in 3 sittings.
