I'm 30 so not exactly young.

I'm probably already unemployable partly due to the fact I don't really wanna work anymore, just gave up.

I have a lot of hair that will easily cover it, it's never usually short, strong family hairline. Was hoping the writing would be small enough a cap could cover it up also, be about 5mm height in total.

FrIEND wrote: So dreep you are already planning on getting a picture on your face at some point too?

Maybe, I'd have to see how I felt about the writing after awhile. Also got the writing done without being all squint and more normal, just need to decide if thats actually what I want written, got so many ideas.

This is some Fudge dread troll right? Who are you? Nate Bozung?

Nah, not a troll I'm just going through a midlife crisis or something.

You have discussed (pretty bravely imo) some of your issues on here, sounds like a time of crisis even if improving isn't the best to make a decision like this. Put it on hold and try not to fixate on it if that's something you tend to do.

I’m cursing my diminished willpower for indulging this but… face and head tattoos are very cool, but what you’re saying you’re interested in… well… you may as well get the lyrics to the Macarena or a picture of the gangnam style guy done. And the person who would be willing to do this for you must have zero standing in the industry.

But good luck to you whatever. You’re doing a great job of gaming the attention economy.

Think it's called "ignorant" style of tattoo, can't help what I'm intrested in.

I'd much prefer small writing to begin with than a picture of some sort, like i said, this would just be about 5mm in height along my hairline.

Don't think the person doing it to me would need much standing in the industry for what accounts to simple words, not a detailed or hard thing to tattoo.

But yeah, giving it a few weeks at least to continue working on some drawings n writing, shall have many deep thoughtful nights about it.

That doesnt make you un-employable, could just be a rut in your life, 30 is still young, you may decide you want to work in the future, who knows you may have kids and your priorities may change.

IMO you are just condemning yourself to be judged as a wrongun and be physically un-employable in any customer facing work.

I wouldnt if I where you Dreep, should be the last place you tattoo.
Unless you're totally covered it just comes across as attention seeking. That said it's your face do what you want.

I think it’s a bad idea mate. It shouldn’t be the case but it does carry a certain stigma in society… you seem to be having a tough time of it just now. I can’t see having a face tat helping that any. Just my 2 cents.

What if the font you choose turns into the tribal bicep tattoo of 20 years ago? Not quite so easy to cover up on your face.

Btw what are the other options for what it will say?

Don't do it, looks gash. Simple as that really.

And to write off your chances of work when your 30 is rather depressing to hear.

I think the point Penton was making is that most who have a reputation within the industry wouldn't tattoo your face unless you're pretty much covered. Same with hands and neck/throat. It's about the placement rather than what it actually is.

Personally I'd avoid it for the time being and come back to it. I have no doubt it'll look cool but if you've got the itch go for something else for now.

As a person who doesn't have tattoos and isn't planning to get any I'm curious to why you'd get the face tattoo.
Is it the aesthetic? A person you admire that has one? Part of your image? etc.. etc.. ?
