No, ive been quite a few times over the past years, but it was the first one that realy hurt. I was covered in bruises afterwards. Might be because I had a bloke doing it, my regular tattooist was a woman, but she left Sad

I'll do some pics when it's finished, looks a bit messy at the moment.

You had it done yet Nick?

yeah, went a couple of weeks ago, god it hurt, I was such a big-girl.
I kind of knew as it got towards the inside of my arm and my elbow it was going to be a bit painfull, but not that painfull.

Next apointment is colouring-in and shading so that should be more bearable.

I'm planning for my first tattoo at the moment so it will be good to see yours when its done. I'm just trying to find a decent artist in my area that is good at japanese stuff. Might end up having to go to another city for it.

Been watching Miami Ink lately on youtube. Watched about 15 episodes over the past 2 days as I fancy getting one myself.

Few people have had cover ups and all look great.

my friend got his done by a guy called woody in brighton - he's a brilliant artist and an excellent choice imo.

wherever you choose, make sure you do plenty of research to find out who's good.

about a grand i reckon, depending on the artist. 4/5/6 sessions of 3 or 4 hours @ £100-200 per session
