Tattoos tend to have a price curve, it's expensive to start with because of all the needles etc. but once you're over the initial costs it tends to even out. Or so I'm told.

This thread is 7 pages long, how many people actually have tattoos on it? How many people talk about wanting one? How may people will get one?

Fair enough people think about if they want one or not but in my experience its the people who talk the most are least likely to get one.

peas.

yea it's my first, and was seriously planned an hour in advance!

would have taken 10 mins but on the ribs was a bit too painful so i had to stop and have a glass of water half way. made it 15 mins or so.

I have a Leeds United badge on my arm and I dislike it for the following reasons;

It's a football tatoo which is never a good thing
It's too small
It's the new shield-style Leeds Utd. badge not the round one I grew up with

I had it done a few weeks into Uni while I was very drunk and had lots of money in my bank account and was homesick. My friend had the Welsh rugby feathers at the same time, he regretted it as well.

yeah football tattoos are never a good thing - my friends boyfriend has got an england flag with "england forever" underneath - so so tacky. he regreats it - cant really hide it either as its on his shoulder.

Agreed totally, but the good thing about mine is that, unless you were told what it was, you wouldn't know, it's v small and only in black and white

Edit- The blue bits and the LUFC down the middle are tatooed in black and that's it.

I've been after a new one for years, this one, was hoping it'd cover the Leeds one I have, hopefully in time for the World Cup for obvious reasons, I don't want the German Police getting the wrong idea about me.

Nah, that happens. When it starts to heal you'll wake up to loads of little black skin flakes. Make sure you keep it clean, a bit of savlon on it should be ok and don't rub it in the shower.

Nice tattoo BTW.

i've been told by the tattoo place to wash it gently in the shower with dove soap (ph 5.5)

then got "tattoo cream" to put on it 3-4 times a day, the cream is solid though

glad you guys like it, I hope it encourages some others to do the same Smiling

Nice One Anadin, this thread has inspired me to bite the bullet and have my cover up work done. I am going to book an appointment on Thursday to have the Christo Redentor one as above tatooed over my Leeds badge. Will post before and after photos.
