I’ve had the Pixie for the last 5 years in the US and it worked well, so might just go for one of them, but wondering if there is something better out there? Cheers.and to answer your question, they also sell this: Best Nespresso machine? Not sure I want something as fancy as the Creatista as looks a bit fiddly/too many things could go wrong.

Cheers - assuming it’s a decent? Have you tried it?

Bit late to the party but these guys are great for beans. i'm sure their capsules are up to par too.

Can confirm they are proper coffee snobs, having been their cafe in Bath a few times myself. Tend not to go that often as I feel intimidated every time I go in asking for a simple espresso
This^ Bought 100g of their beans, used 90% of it just trying to get the grind size right. £15 for the pleasure

Cher’s I’ll check it. And to whoever recommended Starbucks thanks. Great selection and loads cheaper than the nespresso ones

Been using one of these for the past 6 months, can't fault it. Still buy beans and grind fresh from time to time but like the convenience. Makes a decent coffee as well imo.
Tried maybe half the range and have got 5 or 6 favourites we keep stocked up on. Also got one of these so I can use my own freshly ground if I'm feeling slack.

Cheers - looks decent but I was planning to stick to the classic pods but might make the move.

How are you brewing it? The staff should be able to save you a bit of trouble and give you a steer on the grind sizes they´re using.
That was on the Sage Barista Express so took a few goes to dial it in!

Are they still worth it or would you go for new/warranty The price of used Gaggia Classics have gone through the roof recently. Good used ones going for around £250
I brought a 'faulty' classic for £80 on ebay, realised the water pump was broken and fixed it myself for a score. The online gaggia team will help you if you have any problems with the product via zoom. So takes seconds.
Don't think i'd have been able to do lockdown without it.

Just inherited a machine that takes the nespresso capsules. Any decent alternative capsules that will fit out there to try?

Not sure these have ever been mentioned but great for a single user for filter coffee
Very decent alternative when you don’t want an espresso

I've always found the illy capsules to be the most consistently decent of all the supermarket sold pods and I include Nespresso in that too. I've just ordered a tin from Grind to try, can get 30 for £9.95 shipped using code BOXINGDAY.
Anyone else have that Opal machine? Looking to upgrade mine too.
