Any GCSE educated person knows that 'coloured' is a non-PC term used by those in their late 70s stuck in their ways, and of course you'll take offence to some level.

Say that continuously in a respectable office and watch the atmosphere change.

You still refer to mixed race folk as being half-caste as well?

I never took GCSE racism Laughing out loud for real tough, way I see it, such a small minority of our people are actually black, like sagna or balotelli black, so that doesn't accurately describe us anyway, therefore have no problem with anyone calling me coloured. I guess what it comes down to being non Caucasian you take less notice of what is PC, I mean if we call eachother n***a then your not really expecting a brother to turn round and be like what the fuck u call me when u refer to him as coloured
Are you shitting me? half-caste is unacceptable now too? who makes up these rules and keeps changing the goal posts?

I've got a serious question if someone can answer it without being facetious.

Why is black more acceptable than saying coloured? Not looking to stir things up I'm genuinely interested.

FYI I use the term black just because I always have and never thought of using anything else.

Why not call a 'white' person 'coloured' too then?

Good point. Black people aren't actually black though so the term black isn't really much better.
