Yeah we were talking to riotous rockers while todd terje was playing and my mate asked them what he was doing with the things over the vinyl labels and they just said "don't ask mate! it's a whole different world to what we do!" Laughing out loud

Eelectricity was one of the best nights i've ever been to and thats saying something! The atmosphere was one of the best i've witnessed and me and mates didn't move from the same spot for 7 hours just raving it up. Fake Blood tore it up, Annie Mac then equalled it if not bettered. Never been a fan of SMD live… Because of a time two years back at Cream Amnesia they came on after Annie Mac and Touche (Fake Blood) and killed the place dead. It was only because i was right on one that i managed to stay through the set. Utah Saints were worth a few shapes at the end too! All in all a top night, did you head up concrete for the after party? I got pulled to subway (very reluctantly) and stayed all of about half hour. Still, a top night.

without doubt one of the best nights in a long time, as said above smd live are not my cup of tea, stylist ill never pull you to subway agian mate, lesson learnt Laughing out loud it has its uses at times Eye-wink

Yeh ive been to every eclectricity since it started. My bros best mate owns the med bar so i get in for free (quality), your right about the atmosphere. You cant top it in that bacardi tent, its fucking amazing along with the sound system. I got most of FB set now but there was a few tracks annie mac played which were just fucking insane. Like you said it was one of the best nights, pissed all over anything ive been to in london. Nearest thing to ibiza. Well have to do a fuk meet up at the next one. As for the afterparty, i didnt bother, never do theyre just abit too messy for me haha

yeah i saw metric 2/3 weeks ago. one of the best of the new breaks/electro DJs i've seen for a while, quite animted behind the decks too. he has nothing on, for example, Elite Force, though. nevertheless, would recommend seeing him if you get the chance.

surkin (playing on the 21st) is wicked though, i preferred him to erol alkan when i saw them on the same line-up (sorry for the blaspemy, electro kids)

*edit* just re-read - is it a metric live show or just a dj set?

nar i was referring to your question if anyone has seen alex metric live. that could mean (a) doing a live dj set, or (b) doing a live "show". i've seen him dj and that was pretty good.

on the fabric website it'll say (live) after an artist if it's a live show, e.g.

Room One:
BEATDOWN
Ghostface Killah (Live)
Scratch Perverts
Klever
Beat Torrent
Toddla T
Jack Beats Vs Martelo

..which can mean anything from a full live band to a basically no different from a dj set (other than the fact they are on the stage doing it).

Erol speaks for himself, but really looking forward to Diplo, caught switch in cardiff recently and it was going off.

Hercules and Love affair are going to be good too.

Weekend after then its down to Egg in London for Justice and company.
