Did you manage to get in? See the non-ticket queue was a joke when I got there. Two birds and a fella got right to the front and then found out they were in the wrong one - proper gutted an all!

IS there anything half decent going on this weekend (London, east preferably)? I have no major plans for Saturday night and was bored senseless at home last week (no loser).

who is the best draw for a club night these days for a commercial club, other than hed kandi. (who caused a roadblock saturday night)
who always fills up a club, cos all the normal clubbing bods go mad for them?
i really need to know this, it would help me out massive time, so please advise??
(and guys please dun feel too cool to answer, knowing the answer doesnt mean you love 'skream' any less, it just means you keep your ear to the ground, and are generally well informed in the word on the streets at all levels)

We had a huge turnout for Fat Boy Slim at Cream recently, it's always sold out but people were desperate for tickets, can't remember who else was on the bill…

dun think anyone in your average club has ever heard of erol if im honest, do you? Puzzled
(do a taste test and ask 5 random young people in your work)

and fatboys in remission at the mo and would cost about 3 million quid even when hes out.

its for a club in windsor if that helps at all.

Laurent Garnier, Steve Lawler, Carl Cox, Eric Prydz?

They drew the crowds as well.

mmmm, they all a bit past it and not down with the spangley kids i reckon…i was thinking more of an 'outfit/troupe' style thing for a high street type club, thats why im stuck…not being funny but i know most of the big names thru my pal, thats why im stuck….do twice as nice (if they are still going) do nights in other clubs, or anyone newer and better than them, thats the line im working on?
thanks for trying to help tho.

Or maybe a garage revivalist? To be fair, I'm not really into it, I'm just going on who Circus and Chibuku at Cream seem to be booking.

Deadmau5?

Know that alot of the younger generation are into Deadmau5 but he'll cost you an arm and a leg as he's nearly stadium status at this stage.
If its for the commuter belt, I'd say anything with a pink flyer and a picture of a glitter ball will do.

few of my pals run nights in windsor at Vanilla/Mantra etc and seem to fill them easily on bog standard names and drinks promos. All the name's that Luke mentioned would pack it, guess it depends on who your trying to attract. Twice as nice, EZ and old garage acts etc would go down well in that area

Do young people listen to garage? If I was doing it I'd book some no name "sexy house" dj and put some effort into the flyers and venue. More interested in posing in a nice place than the dj to be honest. Henry would know that for sure.

Kind of depends on the area + clientele doesn't it? I know a lot of 'young people' who would rather cut their own foot off than step into a house night (me included more or less).

my bessie owns the gaff (vanilla that is, and them names so DONT pack it)) and i sorted out the manager to him as hes another pal of mine…thats what im trying to advise on for my mate cos i made out im da man…im meeting him for lunch in two mins and ive come up with fuck all to be fair.

and please, people stop being so cool, i dun care if youd cut your foot off, ive reiterated over a hundred times, its a mecca club, its about money, its about paper, its about benja fucking mins, not coolness.

hed kandi rammed the gaff and my mate took so much dough, he said, any others like that i could get in, so ive asked here..end of.
