i prefer the original.. so what genre is this.. house..any specific type.? i really cant keep up. you guys are all so clue'd up. i really like it though and would love to hear it in a club. im defo thinking about doing ibiza again this summer. miss this sort of stuff. love the one comment..

Memorial Day Weekend DC '97– DJ Rodney dropped this dime in the big house room in the back of the Edge that Friday night and every bitch in the room LOST IT! The housers were really housing (with baby powder on the floor), the voguers were really voguing (Vjuan Allure really put it down for the Old Way that night against this Antoine kid from Philly that was a Prestige) and the rest of the people were in a half-naked FRENZY! It was sooo outta control. Merlin couldn't make magic like that.

that feeling after its gone off or when a tunes put on and you can tell everyone thinks its the absolute right tune.. you take a big breath and just think 'wow'. hard to explain to people that only ever listen to rnb etc

It pure chicago house music.

If you want to an equivalent to that comment, make sure and get over to the Berghain in Berlin, its happening there week in week out. Place will go down in clubbing history along side the greats.

ha ha larry pimping the berghain as usual Eye-wink

i'm gonna make a pilgrimage over there in the next year or so. i was speaking to a guy who used to live in berlin and he reckons watergate is better though? and the fact it can be an arse actually getting into berghain? the line-ups are the best anywhere though. that reminds me of this track:

Deadbeat - Grounation (Berghain Drum Jack);

28th nov in london:

luciano and tiefschwarz at fabric vs prins thomas and lindstrom at corsica studios

undecided…

ah i've not been to a club night of that stuff really, just seen some djs. prob some more people on here more into it than me. guess horse meat disco probably play a lot of that kind of stuff?

cheesy as hell but i like aeroplane for their dj sets and remixes. seen them live and they were cheese but good. try and grab the aeroplane resident advisor podcast if you can find it. also todd terje, prins thomas (resident advisor mix is also good), lindstrom, the revenge. some other djs play bits and pieces mixed in with more disco and house too like daniel wang, rub-n-tug, pilooski, house of house…

also check out disco delicious blog for some tracks.

*edit* oh yeh, disco bloodbath for a clubnight? i dunno. not based in london so i don't get out as much to these nights as i should

I don't know anything about this kind of music but I used to go to Disco Bloodbath a bit, it's huge now, ticket's are over-priced, it's in massive venues and full of knobs
