Isn't this as a result of Matter's failure, rather than Fabric itself losing money?

it's gone into administration. that doesn't mean it's shutting down necessarily. as far as i'm aware, the administrators come in to see if it's still a going concern (which, unlike matter, fabric still should be). fingers crossed on that basis it'll stay open like it did when it went into administration in 2003.

i was there on saturday night and it was so so quiet tho. was sad to see Sad

when london has club nights like that it has no equal.
i'd defo put dixon in my top 3 dj list.. more so having seen him outside of his comfort zone.

Villalobos was supposed to be playing here tomorrow night, been moved now to a smaller venue with no partial refund or anything. Not happy about this.

I think ultimately places just run their course to an extent, I have had some great nights at Fabric (breakspoll especially) but when people in here have posted its empty on a Fri/Sat then something is wrong surely?? Is it the promotion or bookings or something?

sadly he was disappointing

he played back-to-back with dj strangefruit and dolle jolle all night (and jim stanton jumped in now and again too). so there was no real set to speak of, just a few tracks now and again.

wish i'd gone to warm to be honest, still haven't seen dixon live!

I went to Fabric a couple of Fridays ago and the line up was sick; Dillinja, MJ Cole, Bugz In The Attic, Duke Dumont, Sinden. It was dead. At one point there was me and two other people raving to Bugz in Room 3 Sad God knows how that happend.

Going tonight though (which has sold out apparently). EZ in Room 3, Zinc in Room 2. Andy C in Room 1. Bass will be sickening. Can't wait.

It wasn't fabric that was losing money, it was matter.

I hated matter.. Horrid vibe in there..

could you explain this statement in a bit more depth please. i know nothing about fabric or matter, so how come matter losing money has shut down one of londons biggest uber clubs?
please advise, cos it would seriously help me out.
