Coming down to London end of the month for LED festival on the 27th/28th, any really good nights/afterparty's on that anyone knows about? Sunday is good as well, may as well totally destroy the weekend.

Need some knowledge. It's my birthday on Wednesday and we're going out for it (and a mate's birthday too) on the Saturday, the 28th.
Just wondered what sort of places in London we should be going really, need places that are going to not necessarily make everyone happy but won't make everyone unhappy. The girls don't want to spend all night in a drum and bass venue and the guys don't want shite R&B and so on.
And as most of the people coming out have only just stopped being students, we'd prefer places that aren't like £10+ to get in. I was thinking somewhere like Proud in Camden or something like that?

carl craig and sebo k are at fabric, ivan smagghe is doing some warehouse in shoreditch which should be pretty cool.. i'm also certain i saw somewhere that erol alkan is playing in london.. so much so that i remember being pissed that i was going to miss it.

i was gonna check jay electronica in christiania tomorrow but the fucker has cancelled.

hdsy - cottam is hands down the best dj i've seen in the last year.

yeah i agree.

i saw cottam play at some strip club basement a few months ago. he was absolute quality, and a totally sound bloke.

this mix is one of my favourites in ages:

Cottam - Causes of Colour Mix by warmhq

1 - Super Value Special Edits 7 - Side A (LTJ)
2 - Cole Medina - Cole Loves Your Insides Out
3 - AFMB - AFRONTB
4 - 6th Borough Project - McLovin'
5 - The Beatdown Soundmachine - Groove Is On My Mind (LTJ X-Perience mix)
6 - The Revenge - Looking Up To You
7 - DJ Nature - Dance
8 - Super Value Special Edits 9 - Side A (LTJ)
9 - Pional - In Another Room
10 - Red Rack'Em - All I Ever Wanted
11 - Space Ranger - Herbal Cake
12 - 6th Borough Project - Stratus Quo
13 - Cole Medina - Red Hot
14 - Scott Ferguson - Keep On Lovin' Me

every song is a stormer and they are brilliantly mixed

i really hope cottam blows up big style. the down tempo house thing is so hot right now.

not that many people i know play the really downtempo house and disco stuff like cottam. i suppose similar artists would be mainly people on that club night lineup/mix listing:

the revenge / 6th borough project
mark e
+dj nature
+todd terje
