APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Fit for me is decent and hard to find slimmish denim to fit my legs.
Worn them a few times now and haven't really had any stretch in them.

Bought a pair of 33 Ace Cash, but were miles too big in the legs. Got the 32s and the fit perfect in the legs, but the waist is an inch too small and very tight. Going to ring a tailor tomorrow who advertise jeans altering as £12.50, just wondering is it possible to make the waist bigger on jeans or is that just to make them smaller? I'm not especially bothered about what denim they patched it with as long as it's black. as i never tuck my jeans in or anything so nobody but me will ever see the patchwork. just wondering if that's something that can be done? have never used a tailor before. went ahead and untagged them now as trying to wear them in, so can't return them. but i dunno if it'll budge at all, denim is awesome quality and even with the elastine seems rigid as fuck. loving the jeans other than the waist. cheers.

ok cheers man, I might try, really want to get them sorted one way or the other. they're a bit of a stupid sizing as the 33 were massive in the legs and not even skinny jeans. more like normal jeans just with a tapered ankle. loads of extra material everywhere especially the outer thighs and knees. they looked crap. to get rid of that material i had to size down but the waist fits% true, so it's dead tight on my waist now. i knew these would be too small but had no choice.

think i'll ring the tailor woman tomorrow and just ask her if she can do it. and maybe take them in on friday if they haven't budged. with crap denim you know they'll stretch but i'm not so sure about these. seem rigid and re-enforced inside. which is good normally, but yeah i dunno.

thanks. i think i've solved it. i've submerged the waist only in tepid water. and have been wearing them wet for half an hour or so and doing loads of stretching and flexing Laughing out loud
already seem far more comfortable than they did. going to let them dry on me. then do it again tomorrow. should be ok after that, i hope. really good jeans but seem ridiculous to make the legs with so much extra material everywhere, and then go and make the waist true to size. if the waist measured 1 inch large like APCs, then it would be sound.
