———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Is it ever possible to pull off double denim?

Tried a Levi's trucker on yesterday and loved the fit but I'm not sure if double denim works :/

Anyone know the name of this model from Acne?

And how do Acne jeans fit in general?

Really depends on model, I find the waist stretches on most, I've had pairs measure from 15" to 16.5 all tagged 30"

Yes, I think it works best if there's really contrasting washes on the items.

It only works if you put hand slightly in pocket.

Laughing out loud

But yeah contrasting washes is the way to go e.g. one raw or black, and one light wash

Dee pulled it off well in the waywt thread a while back, a denim tux can look good with the same denim - might not be what you are after though!

I think the model is called Roc, seems like pretty straight leg. Do you got a pic of the back pockets also? Could be the old model called Mod…

Double denim can look great and yeah as already mentioned it's just a case of contrast.

Black denim shirt and raw jeans is a staple for me.

Hemmed, tapered and chainstitched back up. Need a 38 waist so hem is enormous even after a soak, just can't deal with it. They look good though in that pic, never had left hand twill before, all right so would like to see the difference.
