———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Anyone ordered any jeans from Gustin?
If so, how much did you get stung for import duty/VAT?

Yeah go true. They're very good quality and are heavy, better than his DH efforts imo.

certainly not for me as the 2 pairs of slps i've owned have been much better than all the dhs i've bought over the years. with that said i'd advise anyone to steer clear of last season's black pairs in 16 and 17.5, proper shit.

^ sorry if they're what you've just pulled the trigger on toomuchcoffee Laughing out loud

makes me feel a bit uneasy when jeans sit on shoes like this;
need to be at least 3 inches longer, looks better with a bit of stacking so they're not straight down. not saying you have to go full hedi DH with the stacking…

my thoughts exactly. but with everyone commenting on how it's "better" or "the same". got me thinking if that's just a bad stock pic. maybe?

They are too straight IMO. No taper at all gives the impression of a slim with a slight bootcut. ED-55 if you have thighs or ED-80 if you are slim enough on the thigh/ass.

Cheers picked up the ED55 raws.

This whole Hedi stacking thing is bollocks anyway, majority of his runway collections have the jeans cut right and not stacked and he even wears his not stacked. Was only a few style shots/runway shots that ever had ridic stacking.

It all really depends of the the shoes/outfit that is worn as to wether stacking looks good IMO. Stacking with a trainer/hi top can look good but the jeans have to be cut perfect, way to many wibbly wobbly stacks out there. Stacking with more formal outfits/shoes looks off and messy, it really all depends on the footwear and the rest of the outfit but most stacking looks shit. Nothing wrong with having you jeans cut right. I get mine altered and cut all for specfic footwear Im going to wear them with. Some are longer some a little shorter depending on footwear.

I buy a pair of jeans so often that getting them hemmed is pointless, a pair of formal trousers is worth the fuss but not jeans. Just get a pair that fits.

Trying see to how much I can use the word pair.

It is worth it, some dont need doing and are fine others I want to wear in a particular way so I get them hemmed. Im a fussy cunt and want things to sit absolutely perfect on my footwear. There is no one perfect pair of jeans that works with all types of footwear. Different cuts, lengths, weight for all different outfits. When I talk about jeans I dont just mean raw/blue Im talking black/grey/washed/unwashed all different types to worn in different ways.

I also hate having jeans hemmed now as well. Reason ive stopped buying apc. If they dont come in 34/30 i dont buy.
