———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Any suggestions for nice washed slim/straight leg jeans for around £200 please? Not after skinny or tapered though.

I had a random thought for distressed jeans a while back.

What if you set up a company that gives a fresh pairs of raw denim to impoverished people in developing countries - for free - on the condition that they give them back to you in 6 to 12 months, in exchange for a new pair or some doh.

You then market these "naturally distressed" jeans "by real land workers/miners/cattle herders etc" each pair is unique and tells a story - blah blah blah

Could even have the poor blokes name in em like APC butlers.

Obviously they won't be cheap but you can market them as being like fair trade bananas - they cost more but you're making a "difference" and they're exclusive/unique.

If you see it on kick-starter in 6 months you heard it here first.

C-Styles there was a brand that give X amount of their customers a pair to wear for 6months solid and upon returning them they were given 3 fresh pairs in exchange. There was also a brand that gave raw denim to prisoners working the road sides in America somewhere and then sold them on..not sure what the prisoners got in return!
