Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Give 'em a normal wash in the machine - hotter the temp - the more indigo loss.

these were proper fucked before

that's 25oz so not the easiest to work with either. £36.95 back to my door. £12 of that was postage.

Mike's had a pair of mine for 2 weeks + now so he's taking his time considering he's not getting much. My repair was £55 back to me so I'm not particularly pleased about it although i'm sure his work will be decent

Just looking for some advice, just got some LVC 501z 1954's. The fit ok around the waist but need the shrink to fit for the legs. Stupidly didn't size up on the waist and i'm worried they will shrink too much and wont fit. Should they be ok if I wear them in the bath for the shrink to fit process will this stop he waist shrinkage?

Can anyone identify these form this vague description.
Levi 501s in TK Maxx, no LVC tag, very nice faded green wash, extremely soft and had selvage with a red edge.
Tempted but pricey for the Maxx at £60, plus a very good chance that the uncommon size means they'll end up reduced.

If they're a little tight on the waist you mght struggle but as you say wear them in the bath and you should be OK. Pain to do though Laughing out loud

Does the APC PNS have a wider thigh than the PS? PS fits very tight in my upper leg.

I think they should but actually they're tighter than the PS

PNS are meant to to be in between the PS and NS, but only in the top box though. So they have bigger rise/thighs than the PS, but smaller than the NS.

From the knee down they're about the same though I think.

The context size charts seems to confirm this too:

If they're new and fit well except for the thighs, keep em as they'll stretch.

if ps is tight on your thighs pns will be aswell. I have had both and have the same problem. The pns is really skinny all the way down, more so than ps knee down. Thats bullshit about them stretching on the thighs aswell. If you have big thighs then PS or PNS are not for you

Yeah you're right pal, APCs aren't known for stretching at all.

well ye the waist stretches out, but after having owned 2 pairs i can safely say that the amount of stretch in the thigh is minimal. If they're tight on your thighs they will stay that way

Yes indeed, totally agree with you.
I have even lost weight and the Petit Standard now fits me quite loose in the waist but still very tight on my thighs, even after wearing it for 3 months.
Any other brands someone could recommend with a bigger thigh but still a slim fit (ps/pns) denim?

Just buy new standards and get them tapered. Works a treat.

depends a lot of what measurements and cut your looking for I think mate. The best ive found are orslow ivy slim, roomy thigh and decent taper below the knee. Theyr not at all similar denim to apc though but I couldnt find anything like apc denim that fitted me properly. 3sixteen, lvc and tellason came close but were to tight on my thighs still maybe alrite for you though? Rivet and Hides website is spot on theyv got all the measurements you need and some quality brands.

These http://rivetandhide.com/categories/jeans/tfh-3012-straight-tapered-jean.html look fucking sweet, huge inseam though so im guessing the leg opening would be much bigger being worn at true leg length…..

Edwin ed55s are roomy in the thigh and have a good taper & the pockets are actually a half decent size. Pockets in apc's used to do my nut in.
