Official thread sponsor: The Denim Doctor. First aid for your old denim.

———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

After a few cheapish pairs of denim. Anyone know what the Uniqlo Selvedge denim is like these days Since they stopped with the Japanese Raw? Would search the thread but I'm on my phone with 2% battery

Acne Max Cashs' have given up the crotch after 6 months and the colour faded on first wash. Whats a good alternative for a slim, dark black pair of jeans, without the £160 (I know they do the stay cash). I read here ages ago COS, anything else ? Because I couldn't see any in COS last week.

Nudie's black jeans always held their colour well when washed, Grim Tim is a similar slim fit and they can be found for sub-£100 in quite a few places.

They sell two selvedge jeans. One says it's unsanforised, the other doesn't say (so presumably is sanforised). People on reddit swear blind the unsanforised is sanforised though. I got fed up trying to figure it out and just bought the unlabelled (presumably sanforised).

The denim is thin, for sure, but I just want them dark at the moment and at £35 I can just throw them away in a few months if I don't like them/shrink them etc.

If these don't work out I'll get Unbranded.

how nice are my raws that i havent worn in over a year;

i love them, i just cant do blue denim anymore Sad
cant sell them either

those were the weird limited edition ones from browns, which had the hideous back pocket stitching (unpicked it). they were a weird and deeper navy, with navy stitching rather than orange too Cool

Nope. Hem is 6.5. I've got both and they don't work together.
