———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Assuming he wants black jeans? If so, the Max Cash fit really well, and they do a version called 'Stay Cash' which apparently holds the color longer.

Also, COS' jeans fit well, and are half the price. They do Slim-straight, slim-tapered and skinny. So skinny would be the equivalent of Ace Cash and the slim-tapered would be the Max Cash.

LVC 1954 Raws

1 years wear, x1 warm wash + x3 cold soaks

Fading really, really slowly with almost daily wear.
Some nice denim chatter coming through and a really nice deep blue hue.

Not a fit (or brand) I'd buy full wack, but they are turning into my favourite jeans.

I love Levis it's all I wear. Is the Japanese stuff that much better? Never dabbled in it.

Not beefing but that fading is weak after a year, they just look like normal jeans been worn by a normal person and not worn and not washed to achieve epic fades. Nothing against them jeans, but they aint a fading project, even the denim chatters not good.

I totally agree mate, I wouldn't mind but I've worn the fuck out of them & I'm not careful with them at all.

After having a look at other forums, Cone Mills fades much more slowly with less contrast than Jap denim.
Which I don't mind as the colour coming out is really rich & I reckon they'll look alright in another 6 months.

Anyone know which jeans on the high street have a bigger rise and wider thigh? But still tapered?

I'm after a couple of pairs, light-wash and black on a budget.

yeah B i would say you have washed them way too many times, like Jordan said the whole lot has faded so thats why you haven't got very defined whiskers etc although i can see they're starting to come through and they will, eventually, look great. theres something to be said for these slow burners as opposed to the cheaper selvedge denim that is designed to fade quickly…the colours are always deeper and richer.
this is only my opinion but to me APC's are just toy denim. they fade super quickly to keep the buyer happy (i mean you see wrecked pairs with only 12 months wear….remember those pics of battered pairs Zoom had) because everyone wants dem fadez. I've had a pair of APC's and they faded very quickly and yeah they looked great until the crotch blew out, a belt loop came off and the hems were fucked.

diors up there Cool

my only qualm with apc is the pocket lining always fucking tearing. really frustrating

@nick if you think apcs are fragile try diors, paper thin rip soo easily. mine are barely wearable now

Been wearing a pair of Petit Standards for 23 months solidly now and no sign of crotch blowout (or anything like that). Fading hasn't actually been that dramatic tbh. Not sure if I washed them too early, but sure I left em the best part of a year

Just seen this Nick, yeah I think Jordan is right.

Did leave them 6 months before a soak, but I am liking them more and more as time goes on.

Can't grumble as they cost me 20 quid!
