Official thread sponsor: The Denim Doctor. First aid for your old denim.

———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Any experience with Omnigods? Looking at the ones list on The Bureau and comparing them with the 107 Orslows. Also, on the Orslows, do people prefer the 1 wash or 2 year version?

They taper fairly heavily but not like my Edwin's
The thighs are more of a comfort fit so overall they look and feel to me like a more casual / 501 type affair.
I sized at a 3 though for a 32 waist and i think I may well have been able to size down to make them fit slimmer.
The denim though is incredible as is the construction

Thanks for the info. I'm waiting for my pair to get delivered from Japan.

What size you go for?
The neppy denim on the one wash is incredible

best pair of jeans I've ever purchased - incredible fit + denim.

I sized up to the 4 (3 would have been a proper 'fit') for a new standard look with a little more taper

If your talking about the MCU jeans they are 34.

I'll get some pictures up soon, each pair is individually numbered. I think they make 210 of each wash.

Do they fit true zoom? Just wondering if should go for 31 or 33, since 32 not available

Size down one for sure if anything as the jeans have a slight stretch to them. Free returns if your not happy, well worth a punt.

I ended up getting them when they were only 30% off, so I emailed them yesterday complaining (pikey I know) and they instantly reimbursed me the £80 difference.

If anyone needs their jeans hemming/chainstitching I highly recommend sending them to Iron Heart.
They use a union special, only charge £10 + £6 ups next day delivery.

I posted mine Monday afternoon and got them back today!
Perfect job too

Got a pair of OL jeans that have been sitting in a drawer doing nothing for a couple of years as they're too long/loose fitting for my liking.

Don't want to go to the local tailors as they get bent out of shape when it comes to working on selvedge/double stitching - is there anyway/anyone that will tackle it remotely?
