Thats proper darning.
Had a repair from the denim doc before but he patches and then stitches over.

The denim doc has done a couple of patch up jobs on my Tenderloins which have been fine, they're hardly invisible but that's OK as I want to trash them and have lots of visible repairs (which I think I'm going to attempt myself from now on, unless it's a job that requires some serious skill/ experience). The Mr Handy repairs look perfect if you want to keep your denim looking as new/ tidy as possible though.
Wasn't there a video posted a while back in this thread of a store in the US, 3sixteen maybe, that offered the darning service? Good to know there's somewhere a bit closer that can do that, even if it's still overseas.

That's a great job, in particular for the money!
But as Beedub said, that and patching are two different kind of jobs each one with its own result and aesthetic.

When I was in Rivert and Hide last they had just got a darning machine and were in the process of offering that service.
Had a crotch repair done by the doc on IH's which was a patch and it's holding up good.

I'm looking for some jeans like Dior Orange overdyes 19cm but not paying £450 (which is what they are now?), any alternatives? Not into supper skinny 15cm.

Just got some back from Melvin (mister handy denim). Great service/job. Crotch repair on both sides, hem repairs, and pocket sorted.

What does everyone make of Wrangler Blue Bell?
A fair bit of it is made in USA; the denim jackets look pretty good, dunno about the jeans though - I've never been a massive fan of the 'W' stitch on the back pockets and I don't really like the leather patch on the pocket either, looks a bit pikey.

Yeah I think the Wrangler bluebell jackets are on point; not keen on the jeans though. The leather patch ruins them imo.
