Official thread sponsor: The Denim Doctor. First aid for your old denim.

———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

I have, and it was a positive experience. They're happy to not include receipts and price tags.

Before I send them to the charity shop I presume there isn't a market for worn in old Nudies like there is for APC?

Anyone seen any decent denim/western shirts about? Love the Saint Laurent on Mr P, but must be similar alternatives knocking about at less than 385. Gutted I didn't pick up the Prorsum from a few seasons ago tbh

Is there still a market out there for worn in APCs? I've had to admit defeat and accept i am too old to be wearing petit standards any more, but i've got two pairs of well broken in jeans (one about six years - pictured below, the other about four), ripped knees on both, but crotch blow out repaired by The Denim Doctor.

why too old? I'm 33 and they're the best fitting jeans I've tried, can see me wearing them for years. Stick them on ebay as butlers, should get a bit of wedge

Haha - it's more a combination of age and scrambling round on my knees at classes with my daughter - no one needs to see that much of my arise, so going for something new with a slighter bigger rise - thanks for the tip though, will try them on eBay

Those look proper nice mate. What model are they? With combs like that i'm guessing a pretty slim cut…555?

Son of a Stag. Staff really friendly and knowledgeable, had a few pairs done by them and always a good job.
