———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Son of a Stag. Staff really friendly and knowledgeable, had a few pairs done by them and always a good job.

Son of stag if you're east - Rivet and hide if central (Rivet and hide are nicer peeps too)

Can anyone please tell me which VISVIM Social Sculpture jeans fit close to APC New Standards?

Social sculpture 03 or 04 ? Don't want any ball crushers.

Is there anywhere in London that can do a crotch blow-out repair comparable to the Denim Doctor's?

Used the Doctor before and v happy with his work, it's just a bit of an expensive faff sending jeans all the way up North for repair……

Thanks pops. That's for Fluxus. Are Social Sculpture the same?

I'm guessing….

VISVIM Social Sculpture 03 = APC New Standard type fit ?

VISVIM Social Sculpture 04 = APC New Cure/ Petit Standard fit?

Anyone who was both these jeans confirm?

And are they worth the money? i.e much better quality than APC Denim?

Any decent clothing alterations place will be able to taper jeans, just specify that you need it doing from the inside seam if it's selvedge denim. The only problem there is that most high street alterations companies probably won't have a proper machine for re-doing the chainstitched hem, which the Denim Doc can do, as can Son of a Stag and I believe Rivet & Hide.

Amazing denim but thought the construction/other materials used weren't up to much. Pocket bags ripped after about 2.5 months - pretty annoying when you're spending nearly £300

Hope you didn't pay £300 for a pair. £120 ish from Japan.

But yeah heard a few stories of people having problems with stitching etc. So far i haven't encountered any problems
