Crackajack, sizing up 1 on the denimio samurai/samurai 710 will give you pretty much the '47 fit IMO. Measurements on the site. Maybe have too much details for your liking though, but great jeans.

I'm after a pair of denim in a 32 but with a 30 leg, fed up of spending money on alterations. Ideally I'm after a loose tapered fit.

I prefer the Livid Jeans Harald or Roald cut. Always having trouble getting jeans to fit because of large thighs from squatting but those cuts work well as they are roomy in the thigh and seat. The Roald has a nice taper

^Might look into those, thanks!

Strange that. Was just on it yesterday looking at the new washed Eternals as well.

Gooner
Anywhere in London / UK stock Livid Jeans, sound great but I need to try before I buy as no jeans seem to fit?
Thanks.

Anywhere do a good repair in London? Somewhere I can get to within 20min from liverpool st. It's a crotch burst and cba posting to manchester if I can get a good job done local.

Does anyone in London do darning? My usual guy patches but as these are a relatively new pair I'd like something slightly less obvious.

Does anyone know the shrinkage on Levis 501? Size up 1 inch in waist and 3" in leg I've been told?

The shrink to fit, Rob? I'm a true 30/32 and I went 32/34 on my '47s. Could get away with just an inch up in the waist as it'll stretch more if needs be.

I'm not too sure whether to plump for shrink to fit or not, I'm after a loose tapered fit and so don't want them to shrink to fit, especially when I have the strangest body shape in England.

I have always gone 2 sizes down from my Acne Ace size. I wear 32/32 in ace and take 30 in all pns, raws and washed. Stretching is quite similar in both imo.

Size down two for raw APC, but those size down one.
Anyone had experience with Son Of Stag doing a crotch blow out repair? They've always been excellent with hemming and chain stitching. Blew the crotch on my Acne denim and like stelfox would rather just get them sorted in London.

Told my dad to try London Fashion Workshop in Holborn for a crotch repair instead of bothering to send away to denim doc and they seem to have done a very good job.
