———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Right, I think I need to give my Unbranded's a wash. I have worn them for a year and can no longer disguise the smell!

I have febreezed them to death, is there anything else anyone recommends before I take the plunge? I'm sure i saw on hypebeast or something some kind of denim specific febreeze (probably the same thing), any good?

If not they are getting washed, I want them to keep as much colour as possible, so just going to soak them, what (if anything) do people put in the water with them? And how warm should the water be for minimal shrinkage!

Wash them mate, that's grim. Inside out, tiny bit of detergent, 30degs, no spin, hang dry.

Yeah, they fade.
(Sanforised/Unsanforised doesn't affect if they fade or not, just how much they'll shrink in the wash)

Just wash them when they stink

Exactly. Just turn them inside out, machine wash on a cold/ hand wash setting with regular detergent and hang dry. If you're really that bothered about not getting them wet, then get them dry cleaned.

Wash/soak on purchase to soften IMO. To minimise colour loss don't people use Dylon black?

I've got this stuff - https://mr-blacks.com

Supposedly made for refreshing denim without having to wash as often, smells amazing, but yea, if they really stink, probably want to give them a wash!

if you are that worried about fade just soak them in a bath with a little washing liquid, agitate them every so often
hot or cold water depending on if you want them to tighten up a little or not
replace with just straight water after an hour or so and agitate them again a bit every now and then to rinse them
hang dry

Have had a problem the last few years I was wondering if anyone had any insight on,
every time I crop my denim it bells out from the shin down, giving them a super strange, flared look.
Is anyone familiar with this / know how to fix? My tailor can never manage it.

On a separate note if anyone knows of denim specialists in Berlin who can repair please let me know.

It's probably because the leg opening is smaller compared and it has a taper, so if you roll that part the excessive fabruc bulges out.

Where should I go for a decentish pair of black slim fit stretch denims for quite cheap ? Have bought from uniqlo in the past but always think their black denims have a weird purple hue to them

Not the most knowledgeable on slim fits but Cheap Mondays jeans look alright for the price.

Urban Outfitters had some on sale in store a couple of weeks ago and you can knock a few quid off using a unidays code.
