———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

I was a bit dissapointed by the quality of my visvim pair when I first got them but I like the fit and the hidden pocket.
So almost all raw denim brands I guess. You can look into TCB, orslow, samurai and all those kind of brands. If you want to go a bit cheaper you can check out Indonesian denim brands. My oldblue co pair is on par with most japanese brands I owned quality wise.

I'd recommend Fullcount or UES.

The Unbranded Brand have release a new fit, "Relaxed Tapered"

"The Relaxed Tapered fit roomy and comfy up top, but tapered and modern below the knee"

http://theunbrandedbrand.com/collections/relaxed-fit

Ripped the arse out of my last pair of normal tapered, could this finally be a pair for people with big thighs? For $80 i might just find out!
Oh and 32" inseam, much better than the 34" on all their other models, chopping 4-5" off any pair tends to get rid of most taper Roll Eyes

Looks like they have gone up in price a little from last year. Not sure if they are getting any of the relaxed fit tapered in. Might message them to find out.

I tried on a pair of hawksmill in store, liked them but the top button fell off! They were too big in the waist too so its not like I was squeezing into them! Probably unfair and a one off but it did put me off them

Cheers mate, I got a pair of the slim tapered in the sale. Not sure about them, weird chemically smell as I opened the box and on the jeans. They do feel pretty light for 14oz too

I think in sale probably worth trying - I'm sure to be fair to them it's a one off but it's not exactly reassuring from a quality standpoint. I thought they felt a bit light too as you say

Need the crotch repairing and the selvedge is coming apart on my APC, was going to send them to that mr handy denim place in the Netherlands but his website has gone and his Facebook hasn't been updated in a while. Anyone know if he's still going?

Or can anyone recommend someone else to do a good job, wasn't hugely impressed with the crotch repair denim doc has done for me in the past.

Has Melvin/Handy Denim definitely gone quiet? I may message him as last few repairs have been great and he's quick/responsive (or was).

Bails - Atelier any good and do they make sure to match cotton/denim colour on yarning?

I've emailed him, was just basing his quietness on the fact his website is inactive and his Facebook seems fairly inactive. I'll update in her if/when he responds.

I may go to atelier anyway if they come recommended, saves paying for international postage.
