———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Noob question:

I've gt these Edwins (shit pic used iPad):
How would I go about obtaining 'epic fadez' Laughing out loud
basically what's the process?

Is it even worth while with raw denim jeans?

cheers.

Sell em and get some APC's mate, you will have to put serious wear into them to get epic fadez!

APC/sanforized just wear em solid for a few months without washing, although saying that I've washed monthly and still get 'epic fadez'. Really not a science.

Unsanforized different ball game imo, you can soak much more frequently although my IH are currently in 4th month unwashed and only 1 initial soak.

it depends on what type of denim but to be on the safe side dont wash for a few months. NEVER shove em in the washing machine otherwise u may as well not even start. $0.02

^ross you're talking about jeans that have already achieved the look and no doubt the denim colour looks nothing like the dark indigo when you bought it so we're clearly not talking about the same thing
^ruben why would you chuck a pair in the washing machine where you have no control over how much colour is being lost? bit fucking stupid

The argument about colour loss and when you should/shouldn't wash them all depends on the quality of the dye job.

If you buy something more mass produced like APC or Nudie then they'll probably lose more dye in the wash but if you get something better then you find guys who wash every couple of weeks with hardly any indigo loss
