———————————————————————————-

Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg).

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Cheers guys. Really pleased how these are progressing. If anyone is on the fence about what new pair of raws to get i can highly recommend the 710's.
Got to hang them up in a month though as i am going in for the heavyweight denim comp over on sufu. Although i heard recently that Ironheart are having trouble with the production of the special comp jean. It seems the denim is so thick that the looms keep getting stuck!

Need some slim black denim suggestions please, pref washed. Nothing bigger than 8 inch hem, i'm 36-38 waist. Any help much appreciated!

Out of stock in your size on Tres Bien, but should be easy enough to find another site - http://shop.tres-bien.com/brand/levis-vintage-clothing/1960-s-605-jeans-black-overdye

I know i don't post here much but a question…

Which levi's (if any) will give the best fades?

I see many other brands with dramatic results but never seen a good pair of levi's. I love the brand but it's very tempting to switch to apc or iron heart, samurai etc. for a better result.

Those sams looks great, but the idea of paying £125 for someone's 5 year old jeans just grates me.

Recently had some Studio D'Artisans altered by the Denim Doctor, just wanted to say again what a great service was provided.

They needed tapering from the inseam, slimming through the thigh and chain stitch hemming. Quick turn around and they are exactly what I was hoping for.

Top marks, and as we all know a really nice fella to deal with.

i have a pair and couldn't be happier. great for the price you can often find them for.
fits like a pair of APC PS with a higher rise and a little more room at the top block.

Something I cobbled together to Revolver Project about denim, more for the "n00bs" that the "headz"
May be useful to some people at entry level denim buying. http://revolverproject.com/journal/journal/denim-101/

I want to iron my new standards because the rolls are too big, but the denim has become accustomed to that shape of roll, so if I make them smaller it looks and feels weird, am I good to iron them ? Never washed btw

Son of stag in brick lane probably have them, at least they have momotaro (Same company)

Edit: Mixed up the names, it's Japan Blue that is a product of Momotaro.

(Check with them anyway, great denim store))

Nice, it's those little things that make the difference when you use the denim doc.
