- Not sure this warrented a full thread so into the night dribble thread it goes …..
Whats the best way to sleep? posture wise?
I woke up this morning with a serious neck /upper back pain. Must of slept funny or something. And had it all day really bad and still have it. Its was so hard to drive and look over shoulders and stuff,so i may of swipped a few cyclists unknowingly today, sorry.
I think I fell asleep hugging a pilo or something and planting my head in it at an angle last night? So is it best to sleep on your back? or without a pillow at all??

according to google results, the best position is on your side, with a pillow between your legs, and one under your knees. you should also sleep on your right to avoid pressure on the heart (?).

funnily enough, it didn't say…which is obviously a huge oversight. elsewhere, i've read that your upper half should be higher than your lower…so pillows required (not elephant-man style, just one or two).
also, how's your matress? i get a sore neck if a mattress is too soft.

lol. you volunteered that fairly easily.
okay, how about this nugget courtesy of the University of Florida:
"Certain sleeping positions can trigger back pain by throwing the spine out of alignment and by unduly stretching the back muscles. Lying on your stomach, particularly with a pillow under your head, for example, stresses the neck and exaggerates the curve of the lower back.
The best sleeping positions for people with back discomfort are those that maintain the natural curves of the spine. Here are some suggestions:
Sleep on a firm matrass or use a bed board.
When you sleep on your side, put one pillow under your head, another between your legs, and bend your knees.
When on your back, place only one pillow under your head and another pillow or two under your knees.
When on your stomach, place one pillow under your abdomen and nothing under your head."

hmm interesting I like sleeping on my back so i can see the monsters if they come out of the wardrobe at night. SO will try the pillow under head as standard with the legs pillow option. thanks for the advice.
I think last night was a stomach night with pillow, this may be why it huts today.

Not played for a couple of years since I went to Canada but used to love it. It's prob for the best that I don't play it anymore.
I'm up working on an application.

Sonny Anderson was a legend.
I last played in 2004, my brother has the new version but I have no time because of work to be able to sit down and take time to play it.
