seeing Owen play and score goals like that makes me sick. He could and should be playing every week but instead signs another contract to be United's league cup squad striker and sit on the bench if he is lucky in the league. wanker

Owen knows the score, though. He wouldn't be able to hack it week in week out in the PL fitness wise, so is happy to just play the odd game, League Cup etc. He was picking up a lot of small injuries when he was coming off the bench more regularly last season. He's probably playing at his limits, and would be an expensive luxury for most other clubs (see the majority of his Newcastle career).
