im not even an arsenal fan! obviously their squad is thin in terms of quality players, but if united or any other team for that matter lost the equivalent players they would struggle too, maybe not chelsea because their squad is experienced and very big. I totally agree though that they need a number of purchases in the summer, but i can certainly sympathise

If the squad stays as it is Arsenal will probably win fuck all again. If Wenger does buy a top keeper, Chamakh as expected, and a proven central midfielder, I think that will be enough to win it.

This team is only a few points off the top after playing the majority of the season without RVP, 2 months without any striker, nobody in goal, and an endless succession of injuries to key players. That suggests the squad only requires tweaking.

Some defensive work needs to be done though. You could see that N'Zogbia goal coming from a mile off. How the hell did Clichy, Silvestre and Campbell end up in a straight line pointing up the pitch Puzzled

Which players should they be rimming then?

It's hard not to talk about the best players in the world when they're on form.

its boring

But if we don't get fourth it'll be down to losing results we realistically could have won. i won't be crying that if modric or lennon hadn't been injured or if hypothetically king could string games together we would have definitely done this that and the other. With no injuries you never know we may still have lost to wolves. Twice Laughing out loud

I'm annoyed by injuries but that's sport innit

I don't think there are many Arsenal supporters crying about injuries. They're crying about an injury-prone team not being strengthened at the start of the season.

Puzzled

'realistically' Chelsea should of beat Spurs, Everton, Blackburn etc but they didnt.

It makes no sense saying 'we are a few results off winning the prem', Chelsea/Man.u are a few results off winning the prem by 10 points, spurs are a few results off finishing second, burnley are a few results off getting into europe, Charlton are a few results off winning the F.A Cup

You've missed my point. I can't put it quite right either. But that's not what I'm saying. It's the opposite, along the lines of accept your results and that you didn't play well enough to win, like us again wolves. and hull. boaz myhill > our shooting that day.

does and doesnt make sense, everyone drops points, but weve done it stupidly far more than most, ie defoes ridiculous injury time penalty v everton, teams weve destroyed at home and somehow got nothing. realstically chelsea shouldnt have beaten us because we outplayed them by so much.

Yes R but that related to every team in the land. We dominated Norwich Saturday, the best I have seen us play all season, yet because of their amazing keeper performance we didnt score, they then scored from their only shot of the game and won 1-0 getting promoted. Thats football innit

players unavaiable. wasnt even doing it to moan, just cos arsenal fans whinge about their injuries (of which we have plenty). if we hadnt loanded hutton out, who has been one of sunderlands better players, we wouldnt have that moron kaboul playing at right back at the moment.

Hate Liverpool, their fans and everything they stand for?

How do you feel that those Scouse bastards, and their desperate wannabe buddies Celtc, have currently got You'll Never Walk Alone to #17 in the UK charts?
