i myself prefer anything that is real. when it coems to something that you think of, i don't like to overcomplicate things by using as many clever words as possible. that is what came across to me, but nice try.

It has been stated it has been done in that way for a stylistic purpose. Not for a pseudo-intellectual purposes.
The problem with any "them and us definition" is that it is essentially an ego stroking statement for the person who reads and identifies with it, a backslapping exercise if you like. What we don't have here is an academically analysis of the medias effect, so it is in fact a means of manipulation through identification which the whole thing is describing as a negative anyway, this would back up the (purposeful?) language choice as it reenforces the backslapping.
The only thing you don't want to do is drift into "scroobius pip" territory.

I liked this,
however the danger of creating a writing with so many long words and syllables is that it is very easy for people to call it pretentious (although I'm not!)
without even having to read it.
Also the graphics as mentioned earlier need looking at - everything should be there for a reason - why red? If it's a pure message you want to get accross maybe back / white would be more appropirate?
This is also very hard to read - I read a lot and consider myself kind of inteligent (well not a complete cavewoman anyway!!)but I had to have a few goes at this becasue it didn't keep my attention well - A bit more short sharp and snappy could be needed if you want to get the message accross to the masses??
It depends what the point of the manifesto is??
