that's because RO high water mark has been and gone; has been overstocked and is now well on the downward trajectory as far as a broader market is concerned.

same with every brand in the end. the mystique is gone, the supply and access to product goes up, the demand goes down.

That was the example of a jacket at 300 that I told you. Sorry mate my bad, 20-30 RO jackets but mostly XS and XL. TK offers these jackets at 150 (different from yoox at +500), but it is a fact that they do not have +k, so you could get your conclusions of when is the right moment to buy, now at 350 or in a month or two at +400.

You are right mate, RO is getting seriously famous. Whatever, at the end of the day the majority of the buyers of these leather are outside UK, so we could consider these bargains another advantage of living in this awesome country.

i dont think RO needs "rescuing", it will just shrink back to a smaller scale brand (certainly in the UK)

We'll see mate, anyways I think none of these scenarios will be in the short term.

Just my own opinion this but from my experience, demand for RO stuff is as high as it's ever been. The appeal for me has always been the classic street wear stuff so seasonal collections from the last few years featuring skirts and dresses are just an evolving side show. It doesn't change what I always liked about the brand in the first place.

eBay is not the same as it used to be 2-3 years ago. Auction format is dead for most fashion items, you put a leather jacket in an auction and it will die on it's arse. That in itself gives a false impression of a demand/value, like what DY said above. All this tkmaxx stuff isn't helping but I don't think it's a true reflection of where the brand is at outside of here and superfuture. So yea, everyone is selling their tkmaxx leathers for a only a few quid which must mean the brand is spiralling downwards, it's easy to think that but I don't see that. Here's 3 middle of the road rick leather's I sold in the last couple months.
