Bedford road has Pony shorts in blue on blue colours.

Spotted a lovely green pair of Gant Rugger trousers. Uncommonly sized though.

Union Square one has Brooks Bros ties for 13 quid, Happy socks for 3 quid and those Filson Jackets in XL. Also a few Woolrich sweatshirts. Oh, and Jil Sander sunglasses for 30 quid. Ones with screws at 6 different points round the frame, looked nice.

If anybody spots a filson forestry cruiser jacket in size 36 then I'll pay above the odds to proxy it off your hands - like £120.

Pretty sure they were £73. Can appreciate the quality and style but not really my bag.

Reading TK also had several great Woolrich hooded rain jackets for under a ton. Very high quality technical material and very nicely cut but the navy colour was a little drab for my tastes so didn't pick up.

Copped these blue/charcoal Nigel Hall shorts though. 100% linen and only £19.99. They're pleated which I usually avoid like the plague but being linen, the pleat is softened and contributes to a sharper, smarter cut.

I felt like that at first but have been converted to totes recently. Don't like backpacks or messengers. They give easy access for daily carry stuff.

Gotta have a bit of swagger to pull off though. May not pass pub test depending on where you live in the country.
