I went in the Watford one yesterday, first time I've had a look around TK in a while.

I know what you mean though, half the time you get in there and then think… can't be fucked. As you need to spend a good hour if you want to go through everything.

The only thing I tried on which I quite liked was a pair of Rock & Republic jeans, but they were £70 which seemed a lot for something from TK Maxx.

my dad reckons if you take the tags off they have to charge you a generic price. he said do it when there busy. my old mans full of useless scams.

this is a classic:

when in tesco's, saisburys or whatever go to the microwave meals, find a special one (like £6 finest range or summin) then push the dinner into the no thrills blue and white sleeve. and there you have it, expensive microwave meal for fuck all!

Yeah or buy an item and just retag another garment with that tag and take that back for a refund. I know a certain someone who bought a Dior Homme top and took back something completely different like a very old tee. They didn't say anything.

Going back to the supermarket thing, that's what I do with eggs. I get the a half a dozen of the cheapest eggs and then swap them for the organic free range ones Laughing out loud

Picked up black, green and burgandy Viv Westwood scarfs at £15 each and a stripey one for 30…. one for me, rest for christmas presents (all from TK Wakefield) . Also picked up a Kim Jones/Umbro tee from TK Leeds on Tuesday. Nice! Temped by the duffer coats but resisted thus far!

useful tips, don't know if I'd have the guts to switch tags though. Ripping them off all together sounds easier, especially if they just charge a generic price.

Can always rip a button off or something, stick it in your pocket and then say you want to buy the item but its missing a button. Should get you a healthy discount as its no longer sellable.

Though the price swap sounds by far and away the best, just take two items into the changing rooms.

A brand new one just opened in my local high street and I just got a Aquascutum jacket for £70 but I might buy a cheap jacket and swap the tags. Laughing out loud
