the other day i found out about My Secret Life by Walter - aka The Sex Diary of a Victorian Gentleman. it was:
first published between 1888-1894 in 11 volumes in Amsterdam by the Belgian-born bookseller/publisher Auguste Brancart. For the next hundred years, it remained banned and considered obscene and pornographic.

it has been passed from one famous celebrity to the next, owned at one point by silent movie star Harold Lloyd:

it contains the word 'cunt' 5357 times, and 'gamahuche' 227 - which, apparently, is an obsolete word for oral sex. it is by far one of the most sexually explicit texts ever published, during one of the most sexually repressed periods in history.

and, best of all, almost all of the text is available online: http://www.csufresno.edu/folklore/drinkingsongs/html/books-and-manuscripts/1800-1899/1888-my-secret-life/index.htm

Sleep is a cool subject, i did it at a level in psychology.

also never heard of countries 7, 12 and 13…

Today i am obsessed with.. Sam Walton.

Reading this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sam-Walton-Made-America/dp/0553562835/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s;=books&qid;=1223589454&sr;=8-1

So far i have worked out that this guy was amazingly driven…. and that it seemed a lot easier to build up a retail empire in the 50/60'a because they didn't seem to have shops like we do now…. so the ideas was new.

the guy had ideas that are normal today.. self service shelving, promotions, discount stores, loss leaders, local produce.. guy was bloody amazing.

better 250,000 civilians die in one attack than double that number as well as allied troops in an invasion

Thats a matter of opinion. Theres a lot of conspiracy, but i follow the one that states the bombings where unnecessary as the war was effectively over before the bombs where dropped. Dropping the atom didn't achieve anything other than killing (mostly) innocents. Unconditional Surrender, pah.

the japanese were informed of the americans planning a big attack with lots of destruction, and probably knew exactly what it was but they turned down an approach from the americans to surrender as they were going to fight an invasion and probably knew they had enough to hold the yanks back

Story basically goes.

*Germany defeated, only japanese reistance left*

USA: Surrender or we will invade and fuck you up in ways you can’t imagine.

Japan: Ok, we admit defeat and we surrender on the condition that you leave Emperor Hirohito in power.

USA: Not good enough. We will not accept anything other than Japans Unconditional Surrender. Feel our wrath.

*ATOM BOMBS DROP*

Japan: OK, OK. WE ADMIT DEFEAT AND WE SURRENDER ON THE CONDITION THAT YOU LEAVE EMPEROR HIROHITO IN POWER.

USA: Ok, we agree to your terms.

*War ends*

Bottom line, Japan surrendered first FACT, and the bombs where dropped anyway, imo just to scare the USSR.

Its all just speculation now and whatever whichever way i look at it the bombs should never have been dropped. In My Opinion.
