No, the public aren't allowed in there. They broke in as they said they don't have money for clubbing, so they make their own entertainment.
On the website of the people who did it he says it wasn't too scary for the most part because the ladders were enclosed and there were platforms below them at various stages, but that the last climb up the mast of the ship was scary because it's completely open.
The last photo on their website shows two policeman at the bottom. They had to wait 3 hours until the policemen stopped fishing and went away.

Tallest statue I've seen was this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother_Motherland_%28Kiev%29 can't even comprehend that statues exist twice the size.
The only photo I have of it was when I summoned the strength to lift my shitty Nokia out my pocket after 5 days in that hell hole.

I'm ok with heights as long as I'm inside and feel safe, I don't like things like the Eifel Tower or high bridges where I feel like you could fall off.
The CN Tower in Toronto is scary high, but you feel totaly safe (except on the glass floor bit)
(not my picture below, I was too scared to go on it)

which led me to this,

which made me remember this :

Does anyone know why countries originally drove on the left but switched to the right?
I know that driving on the left is as a result of having the reins of your horse in your left hand and your sword in your right hand to potentially protect yourself against passing horsemen.
But I'm not sure why so many countries switched to the right later on.
It's nothing to do with Napoleon by the way, that's a myth apparently. Although I've read conflicting sources that say he actually did impose right-hand driving on the countries he conquered.
Found this but it doesn't really explain why other than mentioning American wagon drivers sat on the left of the wagon and wanted to keep an eye on the wheels as they passed other wagons so changed to right-side driving.

Yeah I'm talking more about the first switchers - a lot of the 20th century switchers changed sides because of imported left-hand drive cars or because their neighbours already drove on the right so it was safer to drive on the right too.
What I want to know is why the early switchers switched - I don't really buy the wagon driver theory being the only reason.
