Dee wrote: There's a small store in mayfair, I think it's circa £80 bottle - didn't buy myself, was picking up a few presents for family but may pick up a bottle at some point.

Don't mind doing a pick up as long as I can mail it ok.

There is a (tiny) shop here:

117 Walton St, South Kensington, London SW3 2HP

And the one Dee mentions:

175 Piccadilly, St. James's, London W1J 9EN

Cost about £80, I have a couple of them but I don't find they last amazingly well. Best to go to the shop and try some, have a big range.

Currently using Dior Sauvage, which I like but it's more suited to winter months imo.
Would like something lighter and fresher for warmer months. Any recommendation? Thanks

Mugler Cologne is less common, cheap and awesome. Smells a lot like Creed Original Vetiver. Or just get Aventus.

Recently bought and love CDG x Monocle's Sugi and next up will be Naomi Goodsir's Iris Cendre.

Dior Homme cologne is quite summery, if you're into Dior. Smells very citrusy with a nice dry down. You could also test the Dior homme sport

I've already used both Acqua di Gio and Allure Homme Sport in the past, which would do the job, but would be nice to try something different and less common.

Will try to find Mugler Cologne somewhere in store, otherwise Dior Homme might work too. Not keen on spending Creed money

Any other suggestion is more than welcome. Thanks all!

How is the Encre Noire sport compared to the original? The og gives me headaches, it also projects way too much to my liking.

Thierry Mugler once had a limited edition of its A*men like a wooden smell. Any possibility of still getting this or something similar?

Sport is fresher obviously, but will probably still give you a headache if og does.

got a free sample of a diptyque fragrance, was amazing and lasted for hours, assume it was parfum/ special sample type fragrance

bought the EDT from diptyque and the smell is literally gone in 15 minutes, proper shit

is this normal?

is EDT waste of time?

^I've had both the Tam Dao EDP and EDT. EDT is total waste of time, EDP is much better but still poor compared to other EDPs. But they do some of the best summer smelly, so ended up buying one of those small fragrance atomisers to top up if I'm out all day.

Thanks Byte for the link - I rarely trust eBay with fragrances…

But will have a look

Edit: Seems decent http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Comme-Des-Garcons-Comme-Des-Garcons-2-Eau-de-Parfum-Spray-100ml-FREE-P-P-/192051769474?hash=item2cb72d7082:g:BZEAAOSwfpVZKbhO
