Yeah decent for the money. Was great for work through the summer.

Will you wear that through winter Mosoona? I proper change what I wear once the weather gets cold. Lad in work thought I was nuts when we were talking about it but the weather plays a massive part in what I wear.

That Eden stuff any good? I'm tempted to try the Green Irish Tweed version as I cant really justify the real McCoy.

Hows the longevity of Eden? I get shite longevity using Creed anyway…

Yeah the Eden ones are good, decent longevity for me. Their repros of Neroli Portofino, Aventus and VIW I’ve found to be good. Blanc de Soleil wasn’t good, Acqua Di Gio also not up to scratch. I think generally their Tom Ford ones are supposed to be good, but Blanc de Soleil was like some heavy floral musk that a nan would wear.

LFC, I’m somewhere in the middle. When it’s summer/spring I like lighter stuff and never wear heavier scents, but in the winter and autumn I go for a mix. I think lighter/citrus ones are good for work year round.

The VIW from Eden lasts longer than my Creed VIW, but Creeds longevity is always questioned. For £24 it’s worth a go at least.

Thanks to Fuks in house ‘frag-head’ had a go on the PDM Layton. Can confirm it’s a bit of a beast and the kitchen area at work was notably more slippery when worn. Been looking at a couple of the others in their range, Oajan & Carlisle. Oajan seems more my thing, Carlisle might be a bit too citrusy from reviews, anyone comment (LFC)?

Layton gets a bit of a rep for being too “designery” in the niche world, like PdM does in general from what I’ve learnt. But you can’t deny it’s an amazing scent.

I actually wore Oajan for my Birthday last week as I was in work so needed something new to get me through 12 hour shift. If you like cinnamon, honey and vanilla then you will love it. I smelt like a cinnamon bun all day, lasting power was really good. The only thing was, I got a bit bored of it. Not sure it would be something I’d wear regular as gourmand fragrances aren’t really my thing. Also the bottle looks proper class if you are in to the presentation.

Haven’t tried Carlisle Sadly.

I wore Nicolai New York Intense sample yesterday which is very classic smelling to me. Nice but drys down quite soapy which isn’t really for me.

Today I’m on Ormonde Jayne Nawab of Oudh which is a fuckin belter.

Incoming decants of LV Ombre Nomade and OJ Ambre Royal today so will try them over weekend.

Also a big ask of a favour but if anyone is going to Harrods and can get me a sample of Thomas Kosmala No.6 I would be happy to pay for your time and postage Cool

I rate it mate, use it as my go to during spring/summer. Using Samphire now, find its a bit more suited to the autumn/winter. Both decent for the money

Cheers LFC. The women in my office love a cinnamon social, so I reckon there’d be a fucking fanny batter tsunami if I wore something like that! Wouldn’t mind having a whiff of it though as well as Carlisle, do PdM have counters in any of the big dept stores in London?

LFC (or anyone else), don't suppose you'd have any recs for empty bottles/atomisers that have a magnetic cap?

I have the Tom Ford joints, the larger £195 50ml one and smaller £30 10ml ones all have magnetic tops IIR
