Haven't looked for magnetic caps specifically but ordered a bunch of different ones from AliExpress to test some time ago. Eventually liked the one almost all starting niche brands (e.g. DUA) use best.

Yep got sorted within a few hours of Bails’ message, cheers to both of you. Just lurking on there for now to get a lay of the land, seems sound

Visited Penhaligons in Brighton today. Fella working there seemed to know his stuff. Went away with a sample of Cairo which seems similar to PdM Layton, less beast mode and less synthetic, but still decent sillage and longevity. Few other pretty decent frags there too.

Yeah I was bought Halfeti at the start of the year I think and it’s good. I tried Juniper Sling over the summer which was quite nice and easy to wear. Would like to try Cairo and Babylon but the latter is a Harrods exclusive.

They have a shop in Chester so I’ll visit next time I’m there again.

Bought a 10ml decant of PdM Layton from the Frag Heads page (Cheers Bails for sorting access) can also give the stamp of approval - it’s class stuff Ubercool

They were pretty generous in store, ended up getting 4 x 2ml samples of the ones I liked. Can see why Halfeti is popular, although Cairo more to my taste. Also got samples of Luna & Lothair both in the same vein. Perfume testers are set up in store grouped together so if you kind of know what you like, it’s easier to try those that are similar.

They sell Serge Lutens on House of Fraser, Ambre Sultan is class.

Before I offer it up on the fragrance group just wondering if anyone would be interested in a 10ml decant of LV Ombre Nomade. 3 squirts gone, £20 posted

Just bought the Eden version of Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, and it’s absolutely bang on. Not sure of it’s longevity, but having owned both it’s pretty much indistinguishable.

Yeah it's a good un. I've got the real deal and Eden one and there is a slight difference, but only noticeable when really looking (/smelling for it). I got their Aventus clone for a second time, having rated it the first time but their latest version is missing all that initial fruit blast, pretty naff.

Have tried a few from Eden, and not massively impressed tbh. Longevity is poor from my experience, and I've been able to tell the difference in Aventus and couple of others.

Plenty of love.

Colonia and Blu Mediterraneo are two I have. Beautiful fragrances IMO

I've had the classics eau de cologne and colonia intensa, they smell great but even the Intensa doesn't last long. The leather one smells nice too.
