Thanks mate

Anyone rate escentrics molecules? Liked the smell of 04 but not read much on longevity etc

Yeah I really like Molecule 01 and seem to sway towards stuff that uses iso e super. Also like Molecule 02 as I like ambroxan bombs. Probably why I like Ambre Royal by Ormonde Jayne(and most of them in general) so much as it’s ambroxan heavy and Geza Schoen makes them.

I'm using Escentric 01 for quite some time now and I like it. Longevity is good for me

I have ‘Not a Perfume’ by JHAG, but those skin scents like 01 don’t seem to do too much in the colder weather for me.

Cool Glad you like it mate.

LV Ombre Nomade sold.

I got some Initio Oud For Greatness in this week and whilst I like it (and so does the Mrs and kids), £250 for 90ml is a bit steep I think and isn’t that special in my opinion. I had tested it in a shop but wearing for a full day gives you a better knowledge of how it will perform. It did do very well and it was a nice sweet oud scent which was great.

I have some PdM Kalan on the way which I also tested and wasn’t sure of but fancy giving it another go.

I done a full day of Bvlgari Tygar yesterday and it’s so good, I could easily wear that all year round no problem.

Today I’m guna go for Simone Andreoli Eterno.

What's the deal with these 'smell-a-like' perfumes you get? How different are they from the real thing? Are they made from a completely different set of source ingredients?

I'm talking about something like this:

https://crimsonkangaroo.co.uk/collections/chris-adams-mens/products/chris-adams-dreamz-pour-homme-edp-100-ml-if-you-like-aventus-creed-try-this

Tempted to try it given how cheap it is. Will it kill me?

Wonderoud is superb.

"YSL M7 oud absolu" is amazing IMO and dirt cheap as well.
Only £43 at notino with the £6 discount code.

Some of the new Thom Browne fragrances just released were pretty good, imo. Particularly the cucumber vetiver. Can't find samples to test longevity etc though…

8$ shipping from the US mind, could be interesting for multiple sample orders.

Don't think we can import fragrances internationally anymore in the UK? Or is this different for purchasing retail?

Some retailers will, some won’t I’ve found. Not sure whether they declare what it is though?
